I bought these pants for my 8-month-old son, because I wanted a quick alternative to applying sun screen on his legs. These fit the bill. I keep them in the diaper bag and just pull them over his shorts when we go for walks or stop at the playground.Pros:-protect baby's skin from the sun-very light weight and cool (one thin layer and lighter/cooler than the double-layer iPlay items we own)-comfortable (elastic waist stays put, but has growing room)-easy to pull on and off-cover his feet-wash well-air dry quickly-don't take up much space in the diaper bag or purseCons:-material is very slipperyThe slippery material means I have to keep a tighter grip on the baby when he's sitting on my hip, which isn't a big deal unless I'm also wearing something slippery (like a rain jacket). The bigger problem I can foresee is when the baby is learning to walk. Right now he's crawling and these pants are too slippery for him to wear on our hardwood floors. Of course, I bought these for outdoor use, not indoor use, so this doesn't affect our usage much. However, he's starting to pull up on things and will learn to walk sometime this summer, and I am worried that the super-slippery feet on these will be dangerous. At that point, I'll probably just cut the feet off the pants so he can keep wearing them. It would be great if Sanbelle would make these in "big kid" styles without feet. In fact, I'd love to get a pair of these for my older child (size 5 please!), but the sizing seems to only go to 12 months.A note on sizing: these seem to run big. I first bought the 9-12 month size, thinking my 8-month-old would grow into them and they'd be perfect for the summer (when he'd be 9-12 months), but they were really long and hung off the baby by several inches. So, I got the 6-9 month size, and they seem plenty long for my slightly skinny but average-to-tall 8-month-old. I don't think he'll outgrow them this summer, and if he does, I'll probably be cutting the feet off anyway.A note on colors: the blue is more of a silver blue than a baby blue. The cream appears almost white in the Amazon image but it is a deeper cream, definitely not white.In summary, I recommend these pants. Hot weather, sun protective clothing is hard to find for little people, especially for a reasonable price.
