I purchased the size 6 months, which is actually 3-6 months and really more like 3 months. I would recommend ordering the next size.

I wanted a rashguard that would cover up to ankles and wrists in order to use less sunblock. You try chasing a wriggling toddler around to reapply sunblock everywhere. This "romper" was loose, soft, and easy to put on and off. I'd say it runs a little bit long, but my kid is chubby and short so it might have been more of an issue for is. Plus, I prefer these type of items to run big rather than small. A few times my husband took our son swimming and only applied sunblock to his exposed skin---mainly face, hands and feet---and our son didn't get sunburned anywhere.I definitely recommend (even though kinda pricey).

This is our second summer with and second Coolibar beach romper for our daughter, now 18 months old. She has fair skin, and we wanted sun protection without having to apply massive amounts of chemicals to her skin. This is the only line of sunsuits that we have found that has long arm sleeves and long leg sleeves for baby girls. The fit is true to other brands -- she is just getting into the 18-24 month size in regular clothing, and the 18-24 month beach romper is slightly big, but will certainly fit her through the season. The design is clever and sturdy with easy diaper access. The coordinating hats are a nice touch as well. The floral lei colors, particularly the orange sleeves and flowers, remind me of 1980s-era Day-Glo and were brighter than expected, but do allow easy visualization in the water. The beach romper is a bit pricey, but worth the cost for sun protection and frequency of use. We were happy with our purchase last year, and happy with this year's beach romper as well.
