I have used grobags since my son was a few weeks old and love themYes y are a bit expensive but they work wonderfully and always wash and dry wellDefinitely worth a look if you want an alternative to blankets. Te reason this gets 4 stars is price. The halo sacks are cheaper and work as well

This is the best sleep sack!

I've searched far and wide for a good sleep sack and finally found it. This is so well made. Fabric is super soft, top quality cotton. The zipper goes all the way around the outside, not down the middle of the chest and there is a patented "zip-click" which is a piece of fabric that covers the end of the zipper when closed and snaps shut which prevents baby from unzipping. There are two small snaps on each shoulder which allows you to open the sack up completely flat so you can place baby right on top and zip around then snap to get baby in. Some other sacks have giant buttons, snaps or velcro that can hurt baby or leave marks on the face when they turn their head to the side. They use a quality zipper that isn't the cheap flimsy kind that gets stuck and not the giant plastic ones that leave marks on the skin. The workmanship is flawless. The colors are vibrant and don't bleed in the wash. Design was so well thought out. Love it! Bought three from this company, a lightweight one for warmer nights or daytime, this one which has some quilted padding (very cushy) and made for slightly cooler nights and a cozy plush velour padded one for those cold winter nights. On the expensive side but well worth it for something that is used daily and of this type of quality. Sizing seems to be just right. My baby is 9 months and I got the 6-18 month size and there is plenty of room still but he's not swimming in it either.
