I was very disappointed in the sizing of this side snap onesie. I ordered several in the 6 month size only to find they run very small and barely fit my five month old who is of average size. (Strangely, the arms run a bit longer than the torso.) As a comparison, the Kushies 6 month size is smaller than Carter's 3 month onesies.If you order them, I recommend buying in a larger size than you think you need. (The 6 month size is unfortunately the largest they make.) Also, when I called Kushies to complain I had to deal with a patronizing customer service rep who was unfamiliar with the product and sizes. I wish I had bought another company's kimono-style onesie.

This item is excellent. I have bought other brands with the similar side snaps and this outfit exceeds them by far. I bought the yellow Kushies everyday layette for my son, mainly because it was the cheapest color and I wanted to check the quality.When washed and dried on high heat and hot water wash it did not shrink or become mis-shapened like other brands. The thread on the garment is shiny and adds a little character to the serging. Also, the alignment of the striped material even when worn by the child aligns up superbly. The neck hole is not large and exposing the shoulder area like other shirts nor is it tight. It is really like a tailored garment. The only complaints I have is that the price is a little steep for the average person and they could add the hand mittens to the 3 month garment. Also,in the description they do not add that their garments are sewn with certain weight limits in mind. Not a big deal, but it could help a person make a more informed decision. 3 month old garment is 7-12 pounds 6 month old garment is 12-17 pounds

There are three things I love about these onesies:1. They are side-snap, and for our daughter who screams whenever anything goes over her head, these are great.2. They are one of the only side-snap options for non-newborns. Our daughter wore the NB Gerber side-snap onesies until 3 months, the 0-3 months Gerber side-snap from 4-5 months, and now she wears these. Note: I think they do run small, as the previous reviewer notes. At 5 months our daughter is 12 lbs so the 6-month size fits her really well and is still a little loose.3. The colors are muted. This is a welcome relief from the over-saturated "baby" colors of most other onesies we've found.
