I actually bought this little set for my granddaughter to use for her new 18" baby doll. Try finding a doll gown and a doll baby blanket that don't cost the sky. After washing, it fits the doll perfectly and seems to be very soft and of good quality.

My son was not a preemie, but a little on the small side. In the hospital, he wore a gown that made diaper changes very easy. The gowns I had for him at home were HUGE (sizes I could find were 0-6 months) and he was swimming in them! Ordered this set for him, and it is perfect. The arms aren't too long and it fits his little torso perfectly. His feet do pop out at times (The other 0-6 mo. gowns are really long) but all in all a great fit. Also, the blanket was so soft and perfect for swaddling, and the matching hat was too cute! Love it. Great buy.
