I always wash clothing items before I use them and the directions to these said to wash by hand. I soaked them in some soapy water, rubbed a little, and sat them to dry. Later I find a huge whole in one of them. I bought two pairs, so I had one to use still. I originally gave this product a 3 due to this issue, but due to great customer service I will be getting a replacement item. This is great, because I do love the pair I am using. My son face doesn't get scratched since the wrist of this mitten is a smooth soft material, compared to the velcro kinds that leaves marks when a baby rub their face.

I bought these for my 7 month old who has eczema. These gloves do NOT stay on, even if you pull the cuff over a long sleeve shirt, if your baby starts rubbing even just a little, the glove comes right off. Her hands are on the bigger side so I was surprised they slipped right off. 2 stars only for the bright colors which she liked to play with.
