I loved the pants at first, they were soft, large in the seat and fit my long, large son very well. and then after maybe 8 washings, the elastic no longer holds the pants up. i wash on cold (the instructions say warm) and dry on low heat. there's no reason for elastic to lose its elasticity (its purpose) so quickly. it suggests that Under the Nile is using low quality elastic. I've replaced elastic on plenty of clothes in the past, so I do know what I'm talking about with respect to fabrics and sewing materials. this stuff was just inferior. a real shame because the fabric itself was wonderful. i'm disappointed because i ended up returning these pants despite LOVING their feel and overall fit.

I can't imagine why the previous reviewer didn't like these. I had a lot of different cotton bodysuits and pants for my infant twins, but the ones from Under the Nile were my favorite by far. They're very high quality and hold up after a lot of wearing/washing. I passed them along to other families after my girls outgrew them because they were still in perfect shape.

My baby is in 99th percentile and it's impossible to find footed pants that fit her - except for these! They are so easy to put on and very comfy & cute. I love Under the Nile in general because the cotton is really good quality and simple, and sized exactly for my baby. At 14 weeks, she wears size 6-9 Gerber and Carters, but size 3-6 Under the Nile - as it should be!
